Ref. 802 collector's edition

Introducing the Ref. 802, a Collector’s Edition from Trematic. A complete calendar moonphase complication, the Ref. 802 represents a significant milestone in the modern history of the brand while paying tribute to its origins. This project draws direct inspiration from the maison’s production during the 1950s, when complete calendar and moonphase watches were among the most celebrated expressions of Swiss watchmaking and a defining part of Trematic’s identity. More than a new release, the Ref. 802 is a bridge between past and present, an authentic revival of a complication that helped shape the legacy of the brand. Produced in an exclusive run of only 30 pieces, it is a watch created for collectors who value history, rarity, and mechanical sophistication.

- Launch date is June 29th, 6.00p.m. CET

The inspiration

The inspiration behind the Ref. 802 began in Trematic’s archives.

During the 1950s, our maison became known for creating refined calendar watches that combined technical sophistication with elegant proportions. Among these creations, complete calendar and moonphase complications represented the pinnacle of the brand’s watchmaking expression.

The Ref. 802 was conceived as a modern interpretation of that heritage, preserving the spirit of the original pieces while embracing contemporary standards of manufacturing and reliability.

Every detail has been designed to capture the charm of mid-century Swiss watchmaking, from the balanced dial architecture to the harmonious display of its calendar indications.

The result is a timepiece that does not simply replicate the past, but respectfully carries its legacy into a new era.

Technical specs

At the heart of the Ref. 802 beats a Swiss-made ETA 2846 automatic movement, enhanced by the renowned Dubois Dépraz 9201 calendar module.

This sophisticated combination powers a complete calendar moonphase complication displaying hours, minutes, central seconds, date, day, month, and the lunar cycle. Power reserve is up to 43 hours.

The stainless steel case measures 35.30 mm in diameter excluding crown, staying faithful to the elegant proportions that characterized the great calendar watches of the mid-twentieth century.

A compact 44,00 mm lug-to-lug length and 20,00 mm lug width ensure exceptional wearability on a wide variety of wrist sizes.

With an overall thickness of 13,00 mm, the Ref. 802 successfully accommodates its complex mechanical architecture while maintaining balanced proportions.

Every component has been selected to deliver the charm of traditional Swiss watchmaking combined with the reliability expected from a modern collector’s timepiece.

A Unique Piece for your collection

The Ref. 802 is limited to just 30 individually numbered pieces worldwide.

In today’s market, Swiss-made complete calendar moonphase watches are becoming increasingly rare, especially at this level of accessibility and value.

More than a timepiece, the Ref. 802 represents the revival of a complication that once defined Trematic’s watchmaking identity during the 1950s.

Each piece is a tangible connection to that heritage, produced in an edition that will never be repeated.

For collectors, this is not simply an opportunity to acquire a watch, it is the chance to own a genuine piece of watchmaking history before all 30 examples find their permanent home.

Legacy

The Ref. 802 is the first official Collector’s Edition in Trematic’s modern history.

Once all available watches have been allocated, this reference will not be produced again.

Each collector will have the opportunity to choose their preferred serial number, subject to availability at the time of order.

The watch is Swiss Made, assembled and regulated in Switzerland.

The Ref. 802 has been conceived as a one-time project, created exclusively for collectors and enthusiasts who wish to secure a unique chapter of watchmaking history.
