Operating Instructions – Triple Calendar Moonphase
Introduction
Your Trematic timepiece is powered by the ETA 2846 and Dubois Dépraz 9201 , both Swiss automatic mechanical movements designed for precision, durability, and featuring 43-hour power reserve.
This guide explains how to operate and care for your watch to ensure optimal long-term performance.
Complete calendar with analogue display of hours, minutes, seconds and date in the centre, and day and month in sub-dials. Moon phase display.
Full calendar: text for the instruction booklet
Warning: To avoid damage to the calendar mechanism do not use the quick-set date function when the watch is set between 20:00 and 06:00.
1) Movement type and design
Round calibre, mechanical lever-escapement movement,
manual or automatic winding. 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). 25 jewels.
2) Functions
Analogue display of hours, minutes, seconds and central date,
day and month in sub-dials. Moon phase display in a window.
3) Setting the time
To set the watch, unscrew the crown by turning it anti-clockwise (only for watches with a screw-down crown)
Crown positions:
1 Screwed-down position (watch running, only for watches
with a screw-down crown)
2 Unscrewed crown position (only for watches with a screw-down crown)
manual winding. Watch running position (watches without a screw-down crown) manual winding.
3 Time setting, seconds stop.
Adjustment knob A: Quick moon phase adjustment
Adjustment knob B: Quick day adjustment
Adjustment knob C: Quick month adjustment
Adjustment knob D: Quick date adjustment
4) Setting the date, day, month, moon phase and time.
Using the D dial (quick date adjustment), the C dial (quick month adjustment) and the B dial (quick
day adjustment), set the date to one day before the actual date. Then use the A crown to set the
moon phase. Each press corresponds to one day. To set the moon phase exactly, move it to the full moon position,
then, using a calendar, work out how many days have passed since the last full moon and press the crown the
same number of times. Turn the hands clockwise until they pass midnight; the current date will appear,
then set the time; naturally, if the time to be set is in the afternoon, the hands must pass midday.
At this point, the date and time are correctly set.
